David Baumgartner is the Senior Partner and founder of Baumgartner Partners. David has emerged as a leader in the business advisory service industry for the small and medium enterprise market, and is well respected by his clients and colleagues.

Having developed a solid accounting background at Ernst & Young and Bourne Griffiths Boyd, David identified an opportunity to develop a unique business model based on the traditional concept of successful business relationships, built on trust.

David is focused on the continued development of the accounting profession, the clients and team at Baumgartner Partners and the community at large. As such, David's community activities have included being Treasurer of both The Old Trinity Grammarians and Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, President of the YMCA Aquarena, a member of the Manningham Council Open Spaces advisory committee and a coach at Templestowe Auskick.

Katrina Foster

Katrina Foster has been a Partner at Baumgartner Partners for 10 years. Having close to 30 years experience in the accounting industry, Katrina has grown to become the backbone of Baumgartner Partners.

Katrina's longevity with Baumgartner Partners means that she knows the business inside out and is a loyal and avid follower of the business' core principals and objectives. Her unquestionable work ethic and desire for success contribute to the unique culture of the organisation, which is focused on successful outcomes.

Graeme Richardson

As Senior Consultant at Baumgartner Partners, Graeme Richardson has an ageless passion for providing unsurpassable excellence in taxation services. 

Graeme's qualifications and experience speak for themselves. Graeme has over 50 years experience in the industry, including 10 years with KPMG, 30 years at Ernst & Young (where he reached the status of Senior Tax Partner) and 10 years with Baumgartner Partners.

Graeme has the unique ability to work with clients and staff on many levels, where age and knowledge are no barrier to the quality of service provided. Graeme is adored by his clients and peers and well respected throughout the industry.

In his spare time, Graeme is involved with the Yarraville Tennis Club, currently holding the position of President.

John Iacovangelo

John Iacovangelo is a Senior Consultant at Baumgartner Partners, who posseses a unique 'no nonsense' practical approach to business, which focuses on getting you the results you need.

Specialising in providing strategic business and taxation advice to privately owned S.M.E.s and emerging businesses, John has over 40 years experience in the profession, including more than 20 years as a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young before joining Baumgartner Partners in 2006.

John has served clients of all sizes from diverse industries such as wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers and service providers. John has built up expertise in emerging business audits, company valuations, corporate planning, finance advice and general daily business management. John also has expertise and experience in property, construction and tourism including hotels and gaming venues.

John has previously been a member of the Property Committee of the Victorian Division of the Property Council of Victoria and also holds a number of private company directorships and offices of company secretary. John is also qualified as a registered Tax Agent and Company Auditor.
